Guest Blogger review of Harry Potter!!!

My good friend Justin got a chance to see Harry Potter today and offered to write a review for me. Here is Justin's review of Harry Potter....

On Friday ,November 19, 2010 I went to see the first part of the epic finale of Harry Potter. “The Deathly Hollows” clocks in at two hours and thirty five minutes, however it felt like a very short film because of the large-scale action packed scenes and the phenomenal special effects. Having read the legendary books and also seen all the movies I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan. This summer I took a trip to the Harry Potter Theme Park at Universal Studios, Florida and got to experience all the great things that go on in the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter, After seeing the sets I felt ready for the movie to come out and thought it was well done.
The movie opens up with Hermione Granger A.K.A. Emma Watson being forced to erase her parents memory. After the very moving scene, we follow Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) , Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) around England in their grueling search for Voldemort’s Horocruxes.
David Yates explains the story well in this phenomenon so if you haven’t read the books you should be able to understand, but only if you have seen the other movies.
Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows : Part 1 is rated Pg-13 for strong violence and adult themes

Music Video Monday. Raise your Glass!

Listen kids, I know my tastes in music is not your taste in music and I know you are all probably thinking, "Pink? Really Mollie?" But this video spoke to me. Listen to the lyrics, ::So raise your glass if you are wrong
In all the right ways
All my underdogs, we will never never be!
Anything but loud
And nitty gritty
Dirty little freaks
Won't you come on, and come on, and
Raise your glass
Just come on and come and
Raise Your Glass!::
In light of all the bullying and negative stuff flying around I liked this song for the sheer fact that it's encouraging you to be different and to embrace it. I think it's something we forget about really easily. Everyone is different and if we weren't life would be SO boring. So watch this video, listen to the lyrics and rock out to the catchy beat and know that whatever kind of weird you are, you are not alone. Rock on Pink!
